Studio Ghibli Magazine Spreads

For this project I was assigned to create three magazine spreads on any topic I wanted. I had just been introduced to two of Studio Ghibli's movies Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. I love how beautifully animated the movies are and I was inspired to create this.

For the design I wanted to highlight the main characters of each movie and used a lot of colors that were heavily used in the movies.

I remember struggling with this assignment in particular. None the less I think it still turned out pretty well.
