Betwixt & Between Series Redesign

For this project we were tasked to create book jackets for two books from the same series. I chose the Betwixt & Between series, specificlly the first two books.
The Series follows a devorced forty year old women who enherites a house from the Grandmother she never knew she had. The main location of the story is the house which his haunted by the main characters late grandfather.
The house is covered in vines and are a way that the grandfather communicates with the living.
The grandfather is always there in the story even if he's just kind of lurking in the background. He does become more prevalent to the story in the second book where we see him useing nearly black roses and vines to protect his granddaughter.
